NYL Riso

About NYL Riso

NYL Riso started from a habit: opening a game between tasks and being disappointed to find another variation of fast clicking. This site rearranges that list from a different angle. We look for games that demand one decision before your fingers move, and each page names what that decision is.

Every title loads in a full frame and asks for no installation. Before a title is listed we open it once: the frame has to hold the real game, the start button has to respond, and the controls printed on the page have to match the ones actually in use. A title with an empty frame or a dead start button does not appear here.

The sections on this site are not genre buckets, they are ways of thinking: a plan before you move, a budget before the wave, two players on one keyboard, and puzzles without a clock. We deliberately avoided the usual category names because those names do not help you choose between two games that look alike.
