Browser strategy games: 824 titles, no download, no account

Every title loads inside the tab and asks for no install. What we look for is not fast reflexes but a single decision that has to be made before your fingers move. Focused on Tactic Lab this week.

Why it is arranged this way

No install, no form

No download and no account. Press a title, the game opens in the same tab, and progress is stored in your own browser.

Filtered with one question

Can the same level be finished with two different orders and two different results? If the answer is no, the title stays out. That is why this list is short.

One level, three to eight minutes

Each page states the rough length of a level and whether checkpoints exist, so you choose by the time you actually have rather than by the cover image.

Divided by how you think

Not by genre, but by the decision you have to make: a plan before you move, a budget before the wave, or two players on one keyboard.

Questions that keep coming up

Do I need an account to play?

No. There is no sign-up on this site and no email is requested. The game opens directly in the tab you are already in.

Does it work on a phone?

Most of it does, and any title that needs a keyboard carries a note on its page. For two-player games a single keyboard is far more comfortable than one touchscreen.

Do I lose progress when I close the tab?

No, as long as you use the same browser and do not clear site data. Progress is stored locally, not on an account.

Why does a game sometimes load slowly?

Games are loaded from third-party providers. On a slow connection give it a few seconds; if the frame stays empty, reload the page once.

Is there a subscription?

No. There is no subscription and no cap on how many games you open. Hosting is covered by display advertising.

Start here

If you are not sure where to start, open Tactic Lab: its mechanics are the easiest to read and the first level finishes in under three minutes.
