The stamp system, explained in one page

2026-09-13 · craft

Stamps are the only decoration on a card, and there is a hard rule: one per card. Rank, or column, or new — never two, never a combination.

Rank stamps

Numbers appear only where a list is genuinely ordered, such as a cup or a top-five. Ranks are re-cut whenever the list changes, so a stamp can move.

Column stamps

The column name tells you which promise the game keeps. If a game changes its strongest tag after a design revision, its stamp changes too, and the guides are rebuilt the same day.

New stamps

New means added in the last thirty days. After that the stamp is removed automatically — an old 'new' badge is just noise.

Why no rating stamps

Ratings exist in the data, but stamping a score on every card turns browsing into shopping. The number is available on the game page, one tap away, which is the right distance for it.

What a missing stamp means

Nothing bad. Most cards carry none. A bare card is the norm, and stamps are for the exceptions.
